It's a carbine. Bipods belong on full size rifles and lmgs. Ever see a m1 carbine with a bipod?

There are bipods that mount where the bayonet goes... although these screw up barrel harmonics, which means shooting off a bench vs. shooting off-hand will not shoot to the same point of aim most likely... But we're talking about an SKS here, its not exactly a tack driver to begin with, so the change in harmonics might have very little effect on overall accuracy.

These are also much cheaper than the $100 price point your talking about though.

What do you want the bipod for? That probably effects what is a good option (Dont want a 6" bipod if you want it for shooting while sitting/kneeling, for instance)

For the accuracy you'd expect from an SKS, I'd say get a UTG from Amazon. ~$40
