Advice on keeping the rear sight on a CZ SP-01 Shadow from drifting?

This is the 3rd time it's happened. The first was when the gun was new (about 3 years ago). Put the rear sight back, put some blue Locktite on the little screw and was trouble free until last month, when it started drifting again to the left.

Removed the little screw, put another drop of blue Locktite on it, and reset the sight. Seemed to work fine until it did it again.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a common occurrence? Are there any permanent fixes, other than using Gorilla glue or some sort of uber adhesive to keep the sight from moving on me?
 
remove sight and take a center punch and put two small divots on either side of center. This will make it fit tighter in the dovetail. Also look at putting a larger screw both in length and diameter. I had one sight that would not stay in place and the screw fell inside the sight when I tightened it down. beat the sight out of the gun drilled out the sight and put in a larger, longer screw.
 
Slavex is correct. One more thing, de-grease the sight and channel first, apply blue NOT red loctite to channel and screw hole.
 
It depends on the site you have. I forgot some of them are hollow underneath so you can't put divots in them. I'd be loathe to do it to the slide, so try the longer bigger screw first. It's a $5 fix if you can find the longer bigger screw locally. I hit a local shop that has tons of metric and standard set screws and found one that was just a tad bigger than factory.

longer bigger screw , degrease , blue loctite , & it'll still come loose . i'm starting to think red loctite , it only takes 400 F to brake it loose . love the gun though .
 
I've got 5 Shadows, only one has had the sight move, the others all have blue loctite and the original screws, no issues.
 
When you have your sight adjusted correctly, remove screw and set up slide in drill press and take a drill slightly smaller than the threads and drill down very gently to make a v grove with the tip of the drill and then replace screw with a longer one. Remember you are only going down .020" or so and you will not be readjusting your sights after this.
 
the problem with doing that is that a lot of the screws in the sights is barely long enough as it is, and there is a recess in the slide where the screw goes.
 
Green Loctite is designed as a sleeve retainer. I would remove the sight, clean & degrease. Put a couple drops in the corners of the dove tails. Reinstall the sight making sure in is exactly where it needs to be. Blue Loctite the screw and tighten it up. Wipe off any excess Loctite and leave it alone for 24 hours. You will need heat and/or a sight tool if you ever want to get it out so make sure you get it right before it dries.
