Advice on Purchase

I've got a chance at a scope from a local guy. It is a Bushnell 3X9 38 mm Banner model that was made in Japan and not China. I have heard that the japanese ones are considered better than the newer chinese made ones.

The scope is in great shape and I want to put it on a 788 in .222 Rem.

What are these things worth ? $50, $100, $1,000,000 ?

i would say in the $50 to $75 range. i recently picked up a 3.5 to 10 banner with adjustable obj for $80 delivered still in original box like new.

We have new Bushnell Banners 3-9X40 on sale for $89.00 as a comparison. Decent scope but considered entry level for center fire rifles.
