Recently bought a Remington 750 in .270. Push a lot of Bush where I deer hunt so was looking for what reticles other people have put on there guns for running/close/not clear/200-300 yard shots. Also any advice on stuff to do to my gun/ things to replace/fix before I get out hunting

I like 4A plex reticles for what you’re describing. I like the thinner top vertical line of the 4A.
I have both the 4A and also regular plex style reticles in leupold and Swarovski scopes on 6.5x55 and 30-06 rifles.
Out to 300 meters with a 270 is within max point blank range if zeroed appropriately , just point and shoot, no need for ballistic compensation type reticles at those distances.

I second a very thin, center cross hair reticle. Bought a Zeiss Z600 to learn and practice 500 yards shots, only to find that the center reticle cross hair was needlessly thick and basically covered up my ten inch target at 500 yards range...sold that glass in a hurry....

As for replacing/fixing anything , if the rifle works reliably and shoots accurately enough as it is now for hunting within your mentioned parameters then there’s nothing to worry about.
You’re better off putting money into ammunition and practicing than putting into add ons or replacement parts that aren’t necessary. If it loads and shoots reliably and accurately enough then zero it , put some practice rounds through it from field shooting positions and then go hunt.

I would avoid any of the horse shoe style reticles like those common the CQB.

They block out too much too close to where you are aiming.

For medium range hunting for deer, any good 2x7 or 3x9 rifle scope with duplex reticle is excellent.
With a 130gr bullet, if you sight in at 225yard, your point blanc range is around 300yards.

Duplex reticles are great for most of your hunting needs within 300 meters.
If you can find a scope with a German #4 reticle, it's great for low light and bush shooting. The thick posts draw your eye to the fine crosshairs and the 12 o'clock hair is thin for good viewing.
