I just bought a Savage 12fv in 22.250.
What i need now is advice on what scope to buy.
I plan to use this rifle for shooting fixed target and 4 legged critters, within 100 to 600 yards. I was considering a 10x fixed scope but wonder if a fast moving critter at 100yards would be to easy to lose sight of.
At 600 yards what do i realistically need in a scope to make consistant reliable hits on a dog sized target?
