Advice Savage 10FCP-SR sell?

Hi need advice purchased the Savage FCP-SR last November my idea at the time was to have sometime to get out to 800-1000 yards. I have not fired it yet just sitting in the safe - not sure what to do with it.

I have a Savage 10FCP-K and it shoots sub MOA with surplus at 100yards all day. Ive only reached it out to 540yards on a 8" plate and thats was after maxing out my scope and having to hold over past the MOA dots on my optics (with surplus ammunition again)

If you reload you could reach out to 800 consistently. 1000 is more work but highly doable with a savage 308.

It would be a shame if I am not going to shoot the rifle - my plans were to put a good scope on it (which I have on another gun Prostaff 5) sight it in at 200 yards and work up some loads since I also bought the die set and 50 win brass that I've already primed - I do not need the money so that isn't a reason to sell it - as I said it just a shame that I haven't enjoyed shooting the 308 as I initially planned on doing so last November.
