I have a CZ 858 with a Fab Defense upper and lower handguard set. I have an Eotech mounted on the top rail, a flashlight mounted on the side rail and a pistol grip/bipod mounted on the lower rail. I might also add a magnifier when I can afford it.

The system works fine except for the fact that the upper loses zero when I remove it for cleaning so I was thing of getting an NEA upper.

The complication is that the NEA upper appears to only have one rail and the lower has no rails judging by the pictures on their website.

So does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get an upper that retains zero but with enough rails for my gear bearing in mind that I also want to add an Eotech magnifier at some point? Also where would I mount the magnifier?

I had a look at the new BC Tactical handguard and it looks great I just don’t like the fact that it doesn’t co-witness. If the batteries die on my Eotech I want to be able to use iron sights as a backup.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I did the same as you are suggesting, I'm still trying to figure out what to do for a weapon light.
Also, I think that the NEA hand guard/mount may not work with the longer style EoTech's, as it's not quite long enough. NEA would have to chime in on that though.

I did use this mount (as seen on my T97). It mounts in front of the Aimpoint but it blocks my left eye FOV and doesn't allow me use the "thumb high Chris Costa or my #### will fall off grip" that I like.

Add on rail segments are available for the NEA lower handguard. The 4" one has a QD sling point. Segments can be added to it at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. Or you could use the NEA barrel clamp to mount your light.

Zero

If you have the BC tactical or Fab handgards and are using an eotech I would be shocked if you have a co witness right now.
Co witness is when your irons line up with the red dot in your optic all the time.
If you are running an eotech and the zombies smash through your front door just as your eotech goes down due to you never checking the batteries, then grab the nearest coin and pop off your dead optic and use the irons. The irons are totally functional with all hand guard sets.
Go.

The BC tactical hand guards come with all of the accessory rails built in.
How much is an NEA handgard set with all the extra rails?

Depends on how many segments you want and how many accessories you plan to add to your rifle. If all your looking for is a mounting point for a vertical grip, the Hand guards sell for $170-$180 depending on the dealer and the rail segment is $20. The benefit is they are light and run very cool.
