Advice? Which to put Burris and Eotech on?

I need some advice. I have a Burris Fastfire III with normal picatinny mount and an Eotech 512. I need t decide which to put in my SAP6 short barrel shotgun and which to put on my Ruger SR22 rifle.

Any recommendations? Which is better for what and why??
 
Burris on the SR22 because it's smaller and lighter. The larger eotech can go on your shotgun. I'd venture the eotech is more rugged and would probably deal with the shotguns recoil better too.
 
food for thought . eotech is paralax free. the burris is paralax free to 50 yards i think. so if you are shooting further than 50 yards with the sr22 i would go with eotech.


both are really good red dots.

This is the kind of info I needed. Good advice. Can anyone confirm or substantiate taht this is the way to go?
