Hi, my gf has and likes the 10/22, but I'm getting sick of loading up her two ten rounders, beside her. I like her shooting, but it's like I don't get to shoot much myself anymore. (I probably shouldn't complain as she cooks, cleans, does laundry, does the shopping, takes out the trash, keeps track of the paperwork..etc..etc..etc..)

But anyway, I've been thinking, maybe I should get a buncha those steel lips, 30 rounders.

Problem is, my local gunshop wants, like, 40 bucks or something for them. It's obscene!

Where can I find them in Canada, without taking out a morgatge?

Wholesale or SIR.

I picked up a couple of tactical inovations mags for my 10/22, personally I think they are a better design that the butler creek ones and close to the same price.

Would also recommend getting a BC loader for which ever mags you get. Makes loading mags less tedious.

Get the speed loader if you going Hi-Cap. If not, then you'd be cursing how long it takes to load them. The shooting time to reloading time ratio is terrible. The 10 rounders will do me fine until I stop buying guns and have more to spend on accessories.

Lebaron in ON/QC has them at 10% if you are a member. Their price is pretty good for non-members, too. They do take phone orders if out of province.

Order the Tac-Inc's from down south. Even after exhange and shipping, they are about the same price. Sometimes Wolverine has them in stock.

I ordered mine from Tac Inc and took about 6 business days to get here (here being the same place as you).

Just set them up according to their webpage and they should be good to go. Then you can spend just as much time loading those than the 10 rounds.

Got some from TI off their website. Cam fast just got the plastic ones not the metal ones. I will get a butler creek loader local for them. They look cool and hear work great. Have to take some to range and give them a try.

Tac Inc mags cost more than what you want to pay, though they are metal. The plastic mags all cost around 40. So you'll just have to bite the proverbial bullet in this situation.

Tactical innovations

Get the tactical innovations composite mags. You can buy three for about 120 bucks landed. They make both aluminum and composite, with the composites costing about the same as Butler creek ones, only much better designed. You can take them apart to clean them and are nearly indestructable. I've got both designs and the aluminum ones work well too, but are heavy compared to the composite ones. Then get a Butler creek loader for them and you might be able to keep up. Later.

After reading that the "others" make their mags so they "might" fit your receiver didn't leave me feeling all that confidant. I would rather spend a couple bucks more for one that I will know that will work and last than to pinch a couple pennies for something that will be nothing but a head ache.

I have one magazine totally dialed in and can rapid fire all 25 rounds in a couple seconds. The other is still hit or miss and haven't spent the full time trying to get her going.

Everyone one in their right mind will say TI mags. I got two shipped to Thunder Bay for 100 bucks (didn't realize the dollar was not at par anymore). Ordered them on the Tuesday after the holiday and got them the next Thursdays. Also I tried to order a bolt buffer from them but they held the order and emailed me a day later saying they were not allowed to ship it which I found weird.

I've had some grief with my TI mags and will need to take them apart to see what the problem is. It's like the spring is too weak to push the rounds up so I assume something is binding in there.

Pay a bit more now, save a decent amount later..;)
