Looking to add something to the end of my Ruger PC9. Something that will control muzzle climb/dot bounce, without being completely obnoxious to everyone around me. And something that won't break the bank. Suggestions?

Thanks!

I am not using this Beretta muzzle brake, you're more than welcome to have this one for free. Just pay for the shipping & it's yours.

The brake is CNC Machined from Solid Steel, treated and then coated for durability and easy maintenance. It’s threaded with a standard 1/2×28 pitch for most applications in this caliber.

What you want is a compensator not a muzzle break

A long barrelled 9mm is not going to produce enough gas pressure or volume to really feel the effect of a muzzle brake.
Your statement is both true and untrue at the same time. Breaks don't work to that effect, but an up ported compensator does work. We who compete in PCC have tested compensators and they do work on long barreled 9mm carbines, although they don't have as much effect as on shorter barreled carbines, it is noticable especially with a well designed comp like the one sold by P3 specialties, DaVinci, and even the affordable Tandemkross game changer.
I currently run a DaVinci on my 16" fx-9 and it is very effective, and a tandemkross in my Ruger and it has worked pretty well.

We have miles of discussions in the PCC forum about this topic, along with testing results.

Cheers,
ACD

Thanks for the offer, but not quite what I'm looking for.

Okay so now that I know I'm looking for a compensator and not a brake, what are some options?

Well, like i mentioned above...
If you are looking for one that is a bit more affordable but works pretty well then the Tandemkross Game Changer Pro.
If you want a two port up comp the Davinci Diesel slant 9mm works great (I currently use this one myself), but you need to order it from them in Florida. You could also go with the MBX comp, but they are tough to get up here.
If you want one made in Canada that works really well send a private message to Madcow and he will send you a message back with pricing ;)

The idea is to get the gases directed straight up to help with muzzle rise, whether its a three port up, or a two port up. any additional holes off to the side or the bottom will help, but not to the effect of the direct up ported comps.

ACD
