"Affordable" is a dangerous term, particularly in the precision rifle world. I'd submit that only a rich man can afford to hire a cheap gunsmith becaus eyou'll need the work done again.
Now, if you're just asking on this forum because lots of us have 'smith work done to our rifles and you have a hunting rifle that needs to be rebarrelled, fair enough. But I think that a price in the neighbourhood of $1000 to have a barrel blank purchased, contoured, threaded and chambered to my supplied action after the action is squared and trued isn't a bad deal.
I always recommend ATRS (board sponsor to boot), but if you need it done by next month for hunting it probably won't happen. Still, doesn't hurt to ask. 403-277-7786 and today, as luck would have it, is "call and talk to ATRS" day.
