I know several people running them on 12ga autos without issue. It should be fine.

I have one, a red only on my M4orgery. The first one was defective, the second one replaced immediately by OST has been great.

I did replace the horrible caps that don't close properly with clear BC Blizzards.

I've got a SPARC and a StrikeFile that have both done some time on a 12g and 45-70. They've both held up well.

Just pried off the originals and bought Butler Creek Blizzards.

I can't compare, but I have a TRS-25 on my M4. Cheap, works very well, its holding up well, I like it.

The caps just take a little technique to close, then theyre nice and tight. I like them like that, but if you want them off just twist and pull. Great RDS anyways, but the doubler really sucks.
