It was not an easy shoot. Still, King Georges Digweed added another trophy. The Compak was won by Cédric Bedet of France.

Moi, I finished middle of the pack in each event. I had two lousy Parcours that cost me a good finish in the FITASC. In the Compak, I had a great start 46/50 untill the 1 1/2 hour break. I then shot a 15 on a field. I finished with 160/200. The Compak was set by the French refs. It was a toughy! Also, the French refs were excellent and very fair with everyone!

Ah Henry, you keep the dream alive by shooting and writing about all the great international sporting clays events. I have followed your posts for a number of years now from the old shotgun sports sight where you were The LoneCanadian. and it was a much better site than it seems to be today. Keep up the great travelling, shooting and reporting back to us some what less fortunate, Regards FS
