so after studying and looking up after market choke tubes for mainly waterfowl hunting geese mostly
for 10 ga, 12 ga, and 20 gauge,
I'm no further a head with learning anything
which are the better choke tubes
I have a wad wizard and use T shot in my 10 gauge seems to work well
but now would like to add one on my 12 gauge I use black cloud snow goose BB shot (1650 fps, this ammo is no designed for choke tubes that slow down the wad) in this gun
my 20 gauge is a youth shot gun for my grand daughter 18 1/2 in barrel what choke tubes to should I go with for my 12 and 20 gauge shotguns???
I'm kind of over whelmed with all the sales pitches out there

How do the tubes that came with the guns pattern. Steel full (lead mod) seems to pattern well in most of my guns. See what they will do at 30 & 40 yds. You might not have to change. Over decoys a more open choke might work better.

You must have been overwhelmed, you posted this three times. I pattern my hunting loads with various chokes, and then pick the best pattern for my application. I settled on the standard Briley LM extended choke for my waterfowl hunting. I use Fasteel #1 or BB for geese, and #2 or #3 for ducks.

Been my experience that the flight control wad in the black cloud shells responds better to a more open choke . I use a wad wizard in my maxus and a pattern master code black duck in my new A5 and find both throw good patterns with kent fast steel and federal speed shok 1400 fps 1 1/4 oz loads . both briley and Carlson have good reputations for throwing good patterns . I would pattern the oem chokes first befor laying out money for chokes you may not need .

Like others are saying pattern your gun's factory chokes first. I haven't needed aftermarket chokes yet to find a load that satisfies my needs, but I don't shoot black cloud. As a point of interest I only have 1 extended choketube for any of my many shotguns, its a factory browning invector plus LM/Skeet2 for my browning silver. This may all change though because I just bought a brand new 870 wingmaster that will need to be patterned this summer so I may have to try some aftermarket chokes to get acceptable patterns with the loads I want to shoot.
