I was poking around on the internet and came across these four companies that supply aftermarket add on ribs for trap shooters and other competitive shotgun sports.

I cant believe I've never heard of these before. They just go on top of your existing rib.

Some glue on, some stick on, some solder on. Some you can put on a barrel with no rib.

Do you guys have any experience with them?

I know Moneymaker has been on the trap scene for a long time and seem to have a good reputation.
I can only assume that they are all functional.
Check out <trap shooters.com> as someone over there likely has some experience with these.

They work and can be made to do what you want them to do (ie: change POI). The negative aspects are that they add significant weight to the front of the gun and you will need to add significant height to your adjustable comb.

I've seen some are made of carbon fibre to reduce the weight.

Back in the 70"s / 80"s I installed what was called then the poly rib distributed by the poly choke company very good ribs carbon fibre or aluminum only added oz"s to the gun . The ones u show are basically the same format . I still have a model 50 win in 20ga with 2 bbl's full and mod they have poly ribs on them work very well ,
