I am debating getting a new barrel for my 10/22 (fabsports), but I am not about to start spending 2-3 times more cash on ammo. I am just out of luck or do most Bentz chambers still function well with bulk pack ammo? I prefer 333's for both price and impact, but I would use fed bulk if need be. I am not willing to spend much more than those as I fire off probably 10 plus bricks a summer. Any experience you folk have will be appreciated greatly!

I put a dlask 16" fluted on my 10/22 and it luvs win 333's and fed 510's. It will shot dime size holes at 25 yards with this ammo and at 50 yds I get about a inch which I am sure its me more than the gun :)

I am pretty tempted with the 12", but I don't know how much velocity I'd lose. Anyone have a link or experience with that? (I haven't found much on google)

so far I got this: Best of Guns and Ammo Vol. 9 No. 4 (1991)

if anyone could corroborate those numbers, that would be sweet.

On a whim I called Dlask Arms today and suprised that Joe answered the phone on a Saturday. He has non-fluted 16" barrels in stock so I raced out to his business and bought one. I am very impressed by the quality. I ended up sticking around for a little while and Joe showed me his 10/22 receiver which he says has tighter tolerances than the factory receiver. He also showed me the picatinny scope rails. Joe and his staff were very friendly and I will definately be going back.

Now I'm just waiting for my Boyd's Tacticool stock to show up!!! The suspense is killing me!!!

Just received my 16" smooth bull barrel and it looks really good. Now I'm thinking of getting a tactical solutions compensator (or similar) to tack on the end of it seeing as the thread is (or should) be the same. If this is the case, does anyone know if the matte or gloss would best match the existing finish? I would imagine gloss, but I would like the match to be as close as possible...
