Hey guys does anyone make an aftermarket pump for supernova?

Ie:
Fixed light
Picattini rail system
Anything?

I know the claim to fame is the closed loading port button but need to know if anything is available aftermarket? Starting to think I should just build an 870 but quick change 3.5" barrels are really tempting!

Thanks!

I don't think so, I've never seen anything for a Supernova with regards to the pump...

There was the Sidearmor (now Asgard Defense) top rail system for the supernova, but I can't even see it on their website anymore, so I'm not sure if they make it or not.

You can always use a mag tube clamp like Mesa Tactical makes so you can put a light on, but they always prevent you from removing the barrel in a quick manner (although I think they still make the clamp that goes on the barrel only, so it won't attach to the mag tube)

Thanks for the info, I like to have the light in my controll at all times. Don't want to have pump in battery or take my hand off the fire arm to activate the light. Pressure switches are even worse. This has been the downside of having my cake and eating it too with a quick change HD gun and a long range bird gun. Also the button tube stop is genius just with someone made an aftermarket style.

Wonder if it would be possible because it's a long pump anyway to drill and tap it for a rail piece in the front to picitini mount a light under it?

Yeah you may be able to add a rail to the forend.

The problem of course with the Nova series is finding barrels that don't cost almost as much as a complete gun.

Yea Carlson barrel are $375 the thought process went if I buy the 14" IC I can. Have that by my HD barrel, then buy a 28" barrel (carlsons are threaded for chokes) and be good. If I had funds later I could also buy an 18" that's threaded for chokes unlike factory.

Lol the more I think about it the more I think I should just but a HD 870 or 590 and get a O\U for skeet and bird. Already have a 45-70 for predator defense.

I did add a small piece of picatinny rail (a magpul MOE rail I think) to my 14" supernova, although you need to get creative as to where you put steel tee nuts on the inside, as there isn't a lot of clearance or any places for stuff to go... I ended up drilling down through and past the center rib on the inside of the pump so that the steel piece on the mag tube wouldn't hit it at all. A lot of stuff removed and I had to epoxy and file it back in to 'fill it'... big PITA. You might be able to use wood screws from the bottom inside and epoxy the rail on, but I don't know how it would hold up to impacts without the steel reinforcements inside.

Took this pic before I cleaned it up and painted it.

I'm facing the same issues.

On a side note, anyone stocking Mesa Tactical stocks Benelli in Canada currently?
