You can't 'change' the grips on one - the 'grips' are a molded part of the frame, kind of like a Glock... unless you're talking about a standard MkIII?

there is a houge wrap around grip or you can shave off the molded grips and put on a set of real 1911 grips here is a thread from another forum for doing just that
