So I've been looking at upgrading my cz455 stock to something with an adjustable cheek riser and adjustable length of pull. I'm not big on the AR style skeleton look that alot of people have with these MDT chassis. I'll be using it for PRS matches and bench rest style shooting. I've looked at the Boyd's stocks but cant get an answer if they need to be bedded or not. Any suggestions? Budget would be in the 400$ range

Boyds stocks offer what you are looking for within your budget. There aren't a lot of reasonable alternatives unless you don't mind chassis-style options. While on occasion some Boyds stocks may not have the best inletting results, which can be experienced even with factory and other aftermarket inletted stocks, most shooters using Boyds stocks and .22LR rifles don't bed them. In my experience with two Boyds, the inletting has been satisfactory. I too don't care for a chassis.
