Mesa is nice, so are some other higher end ones with buffer tubes.

Check out Mako Security, Im really liking some of their products witht he buffer tubes.

I really like the Mesa Urbino stock.

I like Hogue, both the short 12" LOP and the 13.75" regular length stocks, they are shaped better than most factory stocks and grippier than anything else.

The recoil pad they come with is pretty decent, not quite as good as a Limbsaver or Supercell IMO but good enough that few people would bother replacing them.

Hogue foreends are pretty good too.

If you like a pistol grip buttstock, the Mesa Urbino or the Speedfeed IV-S is the way to go.

S&J hardware carries the short Hogue and the Urbino.

the NEA AR stock adapter is pretty nice, allows the use of any AR grip and stock to be used on the 870. I have ran an Ergo deluxe grip and Magpul ACS stock. Very nice combo.

The Hogue stocks are great, and so are the Hogue pistol grips. Pretty much all the tactical shops are a good place to look at the top of the page!

Does the NEA AR stock adapter make the stock sit higher than the Mesa Tactical low stock (LEO) adapter?

I like the appearance of high sitting stock adapters better, but also feel like beign able to still use my ghost ring sights would be a plus.
