I was hoping anyone who's used the aftermarket 30/5-rnd Swiss Arms Magazines (Dominion Defense) could post a quick comparison with the genuine/OEM Swiss Arms magazines.

Specifically, has anyone tried the PA66 nylon (black) or PPSU radel (clear) variants? How's the fit/finish and overall durability? Thanks.
 
Yes I used the black nylon mags and they are great. The fit and finish is the same as SAN factory mags. The pinning rivet is a little rougher than the factory setup but is totally functional. Not sure about the durability, haven't beat them up much yet.

I have 2 genuine swiss arms mags and 1 dominion in the same type of plastic as origional.

I can tell you the seams on the dominion seem a little rougher and the material is slightly differnt color with slightly less flexability. Overall however I haven't had any problems with the dominion mag and am hoping to get more.

For the price you just can't beat em, I can only see a problem with the extra stiffness in -40 degree weather getting banged around, even then Im not sure they would be a problem.
 
I have real and fake. The fake ones i have are same colour as the original- the semi transparent brown plastic. Fit and finish is ok, I think they are marginally lighter and perhaps not quite as strong. But I have had no issues with them so far.
 
The polycarbonate copies are a bit darker in color, a lil rougher than the real ones, seem line is on the opposite end. As for function, it works fine.

FYI That is the gate, the seam runs around the whole thing. The OEM mags have the gate area polished after the sprue
is removed, we don't bother. Function follows form here ;)

We will do 20 rd versions when our gov customers ask for them.
