I am looking for the fastest powder safe for use in my AG-42b with 140 grain bullets. I currently use IMR 4064 in my handloads however I am curious what other powders can be used. What powder do you use when loading for your ag-42B?

Slower burning powders can give a higher gas port pressure, and risk of parts breakage(or injury). Fouling from nickel/copper jackets caused some to fail in the past. Keep them clean of jacket fouling.
Just because it's in a loading book, doesn't mean it's appropriate or safe on a 76 year old semi-auto. People have adapted, learned how to load differently for garand(similar problem) .

Add my vote for IMR4064 and IMR3031 for suitable powders. With the age of the gun I have (and all ofthe rest of them ;-})>> ) I tend to go with a lighter load. If I want to really blast something, I get out the 338RUM.
