I’m finding this out, The rifle I have is so nice I’m gonna have no choice but to buy oneThose things are hard to find and bloody expensive when you do.
I don't know of any source for spares, and mine are all on the rifles as they should be.I’m having a heck of a time finding a mag for my Ljungman, wondering if anybody had any leads? Thanks![]()
I inherited the gun from my uncle who passed and my aunt couldn’t find the clipI don't know of any source for spares, and mine are all on the rifles as they should be.
What happened to your original issued one?
Thanks yes the rifle is immaculate with original numbers matching everything except no clip. I will find one eventually.Unfortunately there's not much advice to give beyond be persistent. You could try posting a WTB ad in EE and hope a fellow CGN user is willing to part with one. This is how I managed to find a fairly rare magazine in the past.
About the only other option is to scour online auction listings for either a loose mag or a poor condition rifle with a mag that you're willing to buy for parts. As Snider said, expect to pay $300+ (almost certainly more at auction with premiums and shipping if you're not bidding in person). Expect it to be a long-term hunt but hopefully you'll be lucky! AG-42B's are really neat rifles and definitely worth keeping if you have a nice one! Best of luck in your mag hunting!
You were extremely lucky , I can buy a complete AG42B for $700 not as nice as mine but has a clip. The problem is now I’d have 2 with one magDoubt very much you would get a mag past CBSA pinned or not.
OP, like others have mentioned, just hit up EE and other sites with a WTB.
Did that a few years back and got a hit from a great member from Ont.
We still keep in touch.
Average price for a mag back then was North of $300. He shipped it to me for less than half that.

That’s a shame I heard they work with minor modificationsNumrich has reproduction Hakim mags in stock but nobody wants to pin them and send them up despite how often i have expressed id pay extra.
That's how I got my second AG, magless... and nowhere near $700... but I guess prices have gone up lots! You were extremely lucky , I can buy a complete AG42B for $700 not as nice as mine but has a clip. The problem is now I’d have 2 with one mag![]()
