Then there is this option. I would likely go black with an olive/sage green fleck.

Very nice rifles, but Holy Crap man...15 large?

Say 1000 into the stock and another 800 for the basic action and another grand for the tube plus another for the trigger and bottom metal.
Add three thousand for their time and effort and it still comes to about half the asking price.

Seriously what am I missing here?

Sorry blargon but you match the shoes not the jacket. If the mods hadn`t elliminated the thread on purses he maybe could of got one to match.:p By the way i prefer the green to the black.

Get a Sako 85, $2,000 plus the price of a nice scope and you've got a great accurate rifle...$15,000 can be spent on a nice side by side utv to take you and your buddy out into the hills...:)

Well, that settles it then, green specks to match the green rubber boots.:D

It's a McMillan, you can buy a couple for $1K.

To answer your question on price, order one in 460 Weatherby and add this quote from their website to the bottom line :D :

The rifle is test fired a minimum of 100 times at the range to confirm that feed,
function, accuracy, scope viability and safety requirements are completely met.

Incredible how in a handful of posts a request on stock colour turns into a debate on D'Arcy Echols rifle pricing.

Somehow I'm thinking this wasn't really a question on stock colour, but rather another pic post of someone's high dollar rifles, like all the other posts. ;)

When someone asks what type of stock that is, why not provide a link to McMillan instead of D'Arcy Echols ?

Maybe because you can't source that particular stock from McMillan, it is available as a blank only directly from D'Arcy Echols. If you go to the McMillan website, you won't see it. Maybe.

Very true, and perhaps that's just a Winchester M70. No one said the rifle was an Echols, I may have jumped the gun a bit.

After all, who'd put a Conquest in Leupold dual dovetails on a $15K Echols.

Bearkilr, that's actually a Simillion that a friend of mine in the States owns. Echols Legend stock, also D'Arcy's mag box.

Douglas, I run M70's in nice stocks, so I hear you! :)
