When ever you are down in the states always stop by a few pawn shops, lots of stuff can be had for cheap.

I almost felt like that IKEA commercial where the lady is telling her husband to "Start the Car, Start the Car" because I am making off like a bandit.

I was interested in the AGI Professional Metalworking Series - Lathe Parts 1-4 for a few years but the $500.00 price tag is a bit steep for something I have not seen. The guy behind the counter gave me a package deal and I couldn't get the money out of my wallet quick enough.

There was a whole box of gun related dvd's and so the kid behind the counter said that it had been sitting there for a long time and he just wanted to get rid of it. The latest DVD was 2004 and the guy said that a gentleman passed away and the grandson brought them into get rid of them.

AGI stuff is good to excellent, they have the same instructor for most of the courses that goes into detail of the function of each of the parts. The instructor is kind of boring/dry but the info is top notch.

The Wilson Combat 1911 Series 1-4 is excellent and goes into detail of how to custom build a 1911. The welding dvd's are really good also.

Here is what was in the box.

If you do not know how to use torrents it is a two part system. First a file that is stored on a separate website that is very small i.e. 200kb and must be downloaded to your computer. The file on your computer is then opened in a program in which the actual data file can be downloaded. Usually a much bigger file especially if it's a movie, i.e. 700mb.

Think the initial file as a cartridge and the program as the rifle. First you find the cartridge and then you load it into the rifle. After that it's smooth sailing. Some additional knowledge is needed. Try surfing the web about torrents, I am new to it myself.

Here are some programs for download i.e. the rifle in the system.

Windows Program: http://www.utorrent.com/downloads
Mac Program: http://www.transmissionbt.com/download.php

Yes pretty much all the AGI videos can be had as torrents, even the Lee Enfield one via Torrents.ru
Demonoid also has a whack of them.

I think there is a problem with demonoid as I tried to dl/ the hot bluing and rust bluing video's but a user said demonoid is down or something. I don't know much about torrents. Have you been able to dl these two?

try btjunkie.org- lots there.

That was a great site. I found a lot more there. The SKS armourer's course is mislabeled on many sites and it's actually the AK build. Seems like this site has the right one. Will files with no seeders download? I am assuming they won't.

As an update: these files can be had through various rapidshare search engines and the speeds are much faster than torrents. search AGI and armorer you should find plenty.

Hey, I'm not up to date on these rapidshare or torrents sites. Are they free, or do you have to pay to join? Any of these sites know for having virus problems or are they considered pretty safe? Thanks

Rapidshare can be free or can cost, its your choice. To get a download slot whenever you want and unlimited downloads you must pay. To find alot of these for free off rapidshare it will be 6 or 7 downloads that you then reassemble.
Torrents are free, download the bittorrent application, and run it, then find a torrent and you download it. It can take time though, I have had torrents take weeks in some cases, but it is free. Some of the sites like demonoid you must be invited to join, but there are plenty of free ones out there with the AGI videos on them.

IIRC the actual SKS file is 658mb, the smaller one often labled SKS is the AK47 build, which IIRC is around 600mb.

I found the SKS one in rapidshare files. I had never used it before and I use the free account. If anyone wants to go that route search katzforums.com for AGI you will find it in a thread.
