Aguila 22lr Super Maximum Velocity

most likely never been applied for... it's only about a grand a caliber if you supply all the specs.... Go for it... Not sure if a third party can apply

Its just a grand to apply and then you can import all you want?

For something as interesting as this new .22 round, you'd think some dealer would be all over it.

I might have to make a couple of calls to some friends in the industry.

No it's a grand to get it on the approved list... The import permits are another story... Does Aguila have an export license?

I emailed them yesterday to find out some more information and I did include that in my questions. Still no answer but I'll keep everyone posted on what I find out.

Their website is being reconfigured right now so there is no information at this time.

Strange when I was looking at their mini-shot shells last year their website was being reconfigured then,,,, hmmmmmm

You talking to the mexican office or the US distributor?

The aguilla rimfire ammo that was imported years ago was complete ####, no consistancy, misfires, squibs, bullets stuck in barrels and neat stuff like that.

Maybe their QC has gotten better but throwing rocks would be more efficient in a gopher field than the crap they used to sell.

US office I believe... it was a Texas phone number.

Your wastting your time with the US office...the Americans are not interested in us at the present time. The Mexican officials showed some interest when I spoke to them at the Shot Show a couple of years back but they want to do container loads and I don't know if there is that much interest in the product to justify the expense. Phil.

Those are the same folks making/selling 5mm rimfire ammo, newly manufactured! Shows in the Natchez Shooters Supply Cat., of course that doesn't help us much.
