I have a few boxes of (Eley Prime) Aguila .22 supermaximum hyper velocity ammo. It seems like the brass on these are a little bit higher than a factory Federal ammo.

Is it okay to use these in a Green Mountain .920 fluted barrel? Are they safe? What is the accuracy like?

I just wondered if it would affect the function of the action at all.

Hhavn't tried them but I wouldn't shoot them. Its better not to take risks. Besides, CCI velocitors, or other rounds like that are most likely better, and will work with the GM.

I like aquila.
I use them, but I don;t have a match bbl. I don;t think that a match bbl would make much difference with super hot loads.
Safe? sure!
Any good? Why not plink/hunt with the iriginal bbl and leave eley match or federal gold for real target shooting...
