Aguila Super Collibri .22 ???

Others have been kind enough to post a sticky containing the "approved ammunition" information for Canada.
Super Colibri is not an approved ammunition and cannot be imported.
In addition, while it is possible to buy it in the U.S. , the U.S. has stringent export regulations, which prohibit taking such ammo out of the their country. Consequences can include loss of priveleges to travel to the U.S. and possible jail sentences, if caught in possession of such ammo on their side of the border.
I have shot Colibri from years ago, and while quieter than other .22 ammo, I find CCI cb longs accurate, cheap, relatively quiet, compared to standard .22 ammo.

Usually it's a guy with a post count in the low teens, that is asking the weekly "Aquila availability" question.

I did not know about those until this morning ! I was looking for a really weak .22 ammo to teach my kids shooting. I read a bit about them on the net and taugh those would be great as there is no powder in them . Since they are not commonly available in Canada, I will not bother and will go with the regular BB and CB .22 !
Yep. The 5,000 rounds is an exemption from a General Explosives Import Permit. It does NOT allow you to import 5,000 rounds of an unauthorized explosive, regardless of the intended use.
Still scratching my head as to why we have no Aguila dealers in Canada. Authorizing ammunition is not difficult.
Short version of what was explained here a while back, is that the North American distributor is in the US, and they are selling all they can get, to their US customers, and are not all that keen to pay a bunch of fees to expand when they don't really need the business.
That's the short of it.
