I had a Burris scope put on a while back, and it's somewhat like the old Enfield wartime scopes, so there's a bit of a historical twist to a modern remake.

It's a ruddy nail driver, but that metal buttplate isn't doing my shoulder any favours.

The iron sights are great out to 100, probably fine out to 300, but I've never spent any great length of time testing that out. The action's solid, not as smooth as some hunting rifle's I've fired before, but I like the feeling none the less. I have nightmares of gear breaking when I need it.

I've got a soviet AK-style olive sling on there, for whatever reason I never shelled out for a nice leather one; but I've gotten used to the set up.

Really nice shooter, Marstar still carries them. Glad to share some photos.

Beauty Gun ~! I really like these. I also like the scope you chose to put on it. The only thing that I dont like is the price. I little steep for me. If they were about $200 dollars cheaper, I would most definatly pick one up.

great rifle setup by the way !

I totally agree, they are really nice looking rifles and .308 to boot!
But....the price is a little steep.

Picked mine up used for under $600 so I guess we are all in the same price point.

I also have a DCRA in 7.62x51 and it shoots just as well and I got that for a steal of $500. Now the magazine for that cost me $100 so all in all, they were both about $600.

Enfields in 308 are pricy.
