AIA magazines in a M-14/M-305

someone should try to import a large amount of them they would sell easily.

You haven't been around here long enough.
One of the banned dealers was taking booking orders for magazines that some semi-literate monkey had stamped with "FIT'S" and "RIFFLE". Nothing came of the project; it's unknown if any of these "RIFFLE" magazines made it into the country. Or if any of them actually existed, apart from a photo of the "RIFFLE" magazine that went around the 'net. Whole thing was a joke.

I had a chuckle at what I thought (wrongly) was your spelling mistake.

It sure would be nice to have bolt action mags that worked in m14s. Like the lar mags for ars.
 
The real AIA magazines do work in some/most/many? M-14 type rifles.
There is no provison for the front magazine catch to engage, and the lug on the rear of the magazine is angled differently than on a real M-14 magazine. It appears that AIA is no longer in business. There never was a good supply of extra AIA magazines, and if any turn up, they command strong prices.
 
I have both rifles my AiA mag will not work in my Chinese M-14. M-14 mag has a hole in the front "squer one" AiA mag does not and drops down during chambering a round
 









some pics were requested so I posted them on here, its just a ten rounder.

the reason they are uncommon is really a long story and I cant remember it to be honest. something about the AIA guys being super backodered and people tried to sell forgeries on CGN and were banned.
