I have been researching the AIA M10 rifles, and I am getting some conflicting information. I have found that both Marstar & Wolverine are supposed to be dealers of the AIA products but I can find nothing about AIA on the Wolverine site. Also I have read in several places that there will not be a steady supply of AIA rifles, and that the source may actually dry up. I contacted Marstar to see if they knew when another shipment of M10 B2 models would come in, and they responded that they did not know. This leads me to believe that the stories of the supply drying up are not true (otherwise, I suppose the guys at Marstar would have said so). Anyone here able to shed some light on the situation?

Thanks Sten Collector.

You know, they are beautiful looking rifles, but I have a hard time with the price. I don't want to buy into a rifle system (for that kind of money) that I am not reasonably sure I can get parts/service for. I would rather buy a Savage (which I know shoots great), and not have to worry about these things.

For the price of an AIA, you should be able to get a nice Long Branch DCRA .308 conversion target rifle with a PH rear site and a 10 round sterling made magazine. Parts will be on this earth longer than you or I for the Long Brach.

I suspect once Marstar's holdings of AIA parts are exhausted, you will be handmaking any pieces you need, or modifying regular enfield parts to fit.

Pretty rifle. Heavy. The small parts all have that fresh off the CNC machine feel, lots of sharp edges. The fit and finish is OK but it takes a bit for the parked bolt to break in. I would have prefered a blued finish. Ladder sights will mount but are too tall to fold down. I enjoyed mine for what it was and then sold it.

I bought one of the M10 A1s in x39, a fun little rifle. There are two other serial numbers written in black marker on the inside of the hand guard, not sure how that happened. Bummer that the 10 round AK mags have to be pinned for this gun.

As stated above, you would probably get more satisfaction from a nice Longbranch. Especially if it's one of only a few rifles in the cabinet. If you have the extra $$$ the MArstar deal isn't a bad one and at some point the only way you'll be able to get one is thru the EE.

There are two older, but informative very different library entries on the AIA rifles.

Hope these articles help you ... :)
