AICS 1.5 and a Harris bipod.

Hey all,

So I just mounted my SPS tactical in a AICS 1.5 and I am in love! My question is how many of you running an AICS use a Harris style bipod that mounts to the sling stud? I'm just wondering how that stud stands up to field use? As in I don't really want to break my new awesome, but expensive toy!

The over all build seems to be rock solid but I just want to make
sure.

I used a Harris with no problem on my Rem .300 Win Mag in AICS 1.5. Not surprisingly - given that experience - I continue to use a Harris on my Rem .223 mounted in AICS 2.0 You will have no problem whatsoever.

i used a harris on my stainless 5r milspec remmy 700 without any issues as well...the swivel on the aics seems very sturdy. that being said, i switched the harris out to put on another rifle and just acquired a parker hale which i like a lot.

I have used my harris with the AICS 1.5 with out a problem

When I had my AICS, I was running a Rigby bipod, built like a tank !!

Just a advice never use a remple because you will not be able to shoot with a harris anymore ...

My Harris swivel 6-9" BR works just fine on my 2.0 AICS. Life is great.
