What is everyone running for for magazine extensions?

Having shot a LA in 2016 and an AI in 2017 I have never been able to get have one.

This year I can and am wondering what/where to get one.

Thanks!

Ive been running the Seekins extensions but in a month or two you’ll be able to buy these 13 rounders from mdt

That's cool.

Questions:
Is the 13 round magazine the same length as the single stack 10 round magazines?
Is the 10 round the same length (or close) as the AIAW 10 round double stack magazine?
Are they as awesome as they look?

Photo reference: Mag 1 is a 5rd AICS, 2 is a 10 rd AICS, 3 is a 10rd AIAW

the new 13 is exactly the same length as the original AICS pattern 10 round mag. The 10 round MDT mag is about 3/4" shorter, and slightly longer than an AW.

I've shot the prototype 13 over 1000 rounds including match conditions and it is flawless with a 308 in a Remington 700 action. It's also ran fine in a 6.5 CM but I have no personal experience. It is identical to the 10 round magazines (on far right in the picture) except for length, and we have been using these for over a year now.

To echo what RGV said the 13 and shorty 10 rounders run flawlessly. I've also run the shorty 10 rounder in my 6 Creed and it ran perfect. I also have a +2 Seekins extension on one of my Accurate mags. Works flawlessly but sometimes that extra length gets in the way on some props like barrels for instance.

I'm also running one of the two of the 10 round MDT metal mags and one of the 13 rounders right now and am yet to have any issues in range and match conditions! For the money, there's no other good option in my opinion.

The 13 rounders sound like the ticket.

MDT is very responsive which is awesome.

Small plug - they are also a huge sponsor of the SAPRL so they are wicked!
