AICS Stage 2.0 stock

Is the stock rock solid when it's locked closed? Considering getting one for a .243.

I first bought the 1.5, then switched to the 2.0. The 2.0 is completely solid and is way easier to transport.

Have one and slapped a 243 Win Rem 700 VTR.
It's everything you can imagine (and comes with the price tag):
- solid,
- rugged,
- practical,
- accurate,
- and fantastic looking.

Are these compatible with Savage 10FCP rifles?

Only Remington short action, long action and long action 338 Lapua mag. There are better actions like Sturgeon which also fit since they're Remington-compatible. Personnal, I have a short action AICS and I'm considering getting a new AICS long action and stick a 338 Win Mag in it but the price (around $1200 just for the stock) is making me think twice.

I purchased an AI AW 308 with the folding stock. I'm very pleased with the quality, and yes it is rock solid when closed.
