AICS Stock does not retain bolt

Hi,
I recently switch the factory stock on my .223 LTR with a 1.5 AICS stock. This is my new coyote gun. One thing I noticed is that it does not retain the bolt... when cycling, the bold comes right off !

What did I do wrong ?

Unless I am much mistaken, bolt retention is not a function of the stock.
Is the stock pressing on the bolt release anywhere, keeping it depressed?
I would check the operation of the bolt release before looking anywhere else.
Then tell me how you like your stock , cos I want one!

The bolt release button is stuck for sure. Check the operation of it, probably gummed up and staying in the down position inside the action.

May need a new spring for the bolt release.

Found the problem. Stock was pressing on the bolt release keeping in the ''release'' position.

Could not have been gunk because rifle has only 20 rounds through it sinde I bought it new...
