I wonder if these will still sit higher on a shotgun like the 1301 with a direct mount for micro red dots (e.g. the Aridus T2 CROM).

Dedicated mounts will still sit lower but for those who are stuck with picatinny machined on the receiver or don't want to spend money on dedicated mount and prefer flexibility of picatinny but still want the sight to sit very low it is a great option.
