Aimpoint/EoTech 3X magnifiers......fakes?

So I was at a shop today, and there were two magnifiers there. One was marked Aimpoint, and came with an aimpoint box. The other looked like an eotech magnifier, had no markings and no box. Both had picatinny mounts with a little quick release lever to remove the magnifier from the base. Both had really good looking optics.

Heres my question: Are there knock-off magnifiers on the street? The price on these things were 150-200.00 (used), what are they worth new?

Real EoTech or Aim point magnifiers are $600.00 or higher knock off are $75.00

fakes - tons

Yup tons of them, most made for the Airsoft market in SE Asia, but a fair number head over here too.. They are all over Ebay, and many have almost perfect trademarks. Be very careful if the price is way too good it most likely is not real.

The other side of that coin, is what if it's priced like a real one? Then yer REALLY getting the shaft!
