I'm torn between getting a Micro and a ML3 in 2 MOA. I'd prefer the Micro overall but the 4 MOA dot sounds huge, is it?

Depends on your useage. Within 100yd, 4min dot is fine for fast work, after that you're going to start obscuring more of your target. some folks use the top of the dot for 'precise' aiming at further range.

I used an old bushnell holosite with a large dot for a while. I didn't like it as much as the 1min dot models.

Get the 2MOA and turn it up higher and you'll have what is more like a 4MOA dot. Get the 4MOA and you can't make it any smaller.

I used a Comp M3 with 4MOA dot for a while, then got an M4 with 2MOA, and hands down the smaller dot makes smaller groups. When you turn it up bright its fast like the larger dot.

Will be mostly for my CZ-858. Punching paper, blasting in the bush, maybe a backup deer rifle. Probably not, it's all black and would scare the Fudd's.

Is there a 2 MOA micro? That would be perfect IMO, but I don't see one out there.

In this case, I you are planning to use it past 100m, get something with 2MOA max

4 MOA for a shotgun or a SMG to aim at 100m is good enough
