I already have an Eotech 522 on my XCR, but with the new Ruger SR-22 on its way, I was looking at getting a new site for my XCR and putting the Eotech on the Ruger.

Who sells the Aimpoints in Canada and what prices are we looking at? I have tried all the CGN vendors and only found a "Special Order" link off of Wolverine. Does anyone stock them?

Target Sports carries AimPoints, but their site still doesn't work, so call them to find out.

unless you need NV capable optics get the H-1 over the T-1, it costs less too, the micros come with a 4moa dot only, a different optic with a 2moa dot might be better for accuracy.

Hey thanks! That is exactly what I was looking for. I didnt realise DST carried Optics. I also didnt realise Aimpoints were so much. haha.

The Shooting Edge (at the top) also carries Aimpoints, their prices are prtty good right now.

Aimpoints are definitely not cheap, they are top tier stuff like Nightforce and S&B are for magnified scopes.

If you want a more budget-friendly scope (without sacrificing too much quality), Vortex makes some very decent red-dots, including a T1 Micro "clone" called the SPARC (not sure if they are up here yet).

They might be expensive but you get your monyes worth, I have a comp ml3, and the quality is amazing, battery life is also better than anything else, including EOTech.

There is a micro on the ee for 550 right now. It is the h1. There was a t1 but it is on route to my house now.

I believe I baught mine from Dave's surplus.

Don't rule out the ML2 or C2/3 if price is a concern. I have a few aimpoints and although I like the micro for its size and weight the ML2 is a great optic as well, still lighter then the EOtech and sometimes easier to find the dot then the micro.

I bought mine from oneshottactical because they had them in stock. The Shooting Edge had the best prices, so if they have some, go for it. Don't know where you live, but buy out of province and save the PST if it will be more than shipping.

I bought a T-1 from Dave's a decent price couple of years ago and got the CGN discount. I also have an H-1, and there really enough difference to justify the difference in cost now that they come in matt black as well.
