I hope this doesnt get bumped to Optics..cause I think nobody reads it..anyways figured it was ok here..cause its going on an AR.

What is the best source in Canada for this? Price range?

It says its 4moa? Is 2 moa an option or is it adjustable?

Any negative feedback on this site? It will be mostly for indoor/outdoor IPSC 3 gun stuff. I already have BUIS for any long distance misses.

thanks nine..

I think I want the regular ML2 as I dont need NVD stuff on M68.. you think its cheaper?

Get the ML2 and definately get the 2MOA dot...
I have, and use both the Aimpoint and Eotech, and I think the Aimpoint is the way to go.....

Ok I have it narrowed down to ML3.

But what is better for range use and short range outdoor stuff like plates and IPSC targets...

4MOA?
2MOA?

Its a 10.5 incher, so long distance is never gonna happen.

thanks for any help.

I use the ML2 (4moa) at 100yrds it's a 4 inch dot & at 50 yrds it's a 2 inch dot (size on target), I have not tried the 2moa versions, but I find the 4moa just great for fast acquisition.

For IPSC size bulleyes, I would go 4moa, it will be easier to pick up IMHO

hey is the 4moa more of a round dot then the 2moa? less scatter in the red? Is it adjustable at all? Only red dot sites ive used are pistol types or other open rail types..

Anyone used the cheap ebay knockoffs? Considering the prices its worth a try even if you wind up throwing the thing out... they come with mounts, so at the very least its coming with something useful.

Get the 4MOA. The last Aimpoint I bought was a 2MOA ML3, and I wish I had purchased the 4MOA instead. This is a CQB gun, not a sniper rifle. Even if I was planning on using it at greater than CQB distances, I'd still get the 4MOA.

The dot size after all, is only 4" compared to 2" at 100 yds - you won't notice ANY practical difference at 100 yds, but you WILL notice a difference close up. The way some people talk about the 4MOA dot you'd think it was the size of a dinner plate. This sight is made for hitting targets, not putting all of your rounds into one hole, and IMHO the 4MOA will help you hit your targets better and quicker than the 2 MOA.

Just a point for those asking, the M3 series has the same tube dimensions as the M2 series. The difference is in the electronics. The M3s have a much longer battery life. They also come with rubber armour. There really is no reason to buy M2s any more.

I got one mounted on a shotgun for a little over a year... It's holding up and works good for plinking, but the quality of the glass/dot is not like the real deal. Lots of reflection around the dot in low light... But for what I got into, I'm not complaining.

jackyiscxd is selling them for $90 shipped to your door!

Would I trust my life on it, not if I have a choice.
Would I buy the real thing if I had the $$ lawaying around, you bet!
