I'm aware that Pic rail cross-slots and Weaver slots are slightly different in width; Weaver rings fit loosely in Pic rail slots, and many Pic-type rings have recoil lugs that are simply too wide to fit into some Weaver slots. I have an Aimpoint H1 equipped with an ADM QD mount, and sadly, this is one of those "just won't fit" scenarios. Does anyone know if there is a similar QD mount of some other brand, which will work with the Aimpoint and allow it to be mounted on Weaver bases? This is the low height mount, not the AR-height co-witness mount.
I don't really want to try dressing down the ADM recoil lug/screw...and I'm definitely not interested in filing any of the slots on my Steyr Scout! This is my one beef with that gun: the use of Weaver rather than Pic rail specs. There's got to be a way to get a low-mounted Aimpoint on this rifle; I think it will be too good of a combo for someone not to have thought of a way.
