Just found this on Midway.

From what I've been reading the R-1 is just like the T-1 with no NVG capabilities. If someone could clear this up for me I also heard that as long as the aimpoint has no NVG capabilities its doesn't fall under control of the ITAR?

The R1 is silver, not black, but you're right about no NV. However, midway won't sell international.

It's probably not ITAR restricted, but there are still other restrictions to bringing firearms optics out of the USA.
