Just wanted to post this heads up for any Aimpoint T-2 users installing their sight onto mounts (other than the one it came with).
Apparently, Aimpoint put helicoils into the aluminum base to prevent the screws from stripping the soft base material.
However, using Loctite is not recommended according to the engineers.
I got this same advice when I contacted them, as well as "just snug them up, and go 1/4 turn more".
