Bought a T2 micro new in March, *&king thing is dead twice now, changed batteries, still same , contacted sponsor vender that it was purchased from, and get a link to send to Sweden? wtf? is there no repair/exchange for Canada ?

I have to chime in here,.....seems the Americans get excellent service on all guns and related optics, ect

but up here in canada it seems "secondary" repair places handle the issue...if they can .....if not they send it back to the US or who knows where.

I really dont trust ANY warranty thats from another country.....how can you ?
just seems the buck gets passed on and on.

when I buy something now I assume I'm not getting Jack 5hit if it stops working.

then there's your "limited" life time warranty thats not worth the paper its written on.

something made in china, Turkey.....sent to the US....then shipped to canada....then sold here......ya your gonna get anything !

to the OP...I hope this works out better for you than it did me.

I didn't have a warranty issue but I had great comms with their Swedish office. Too bad the Canadian vendor won't exchange it but I'm sure Aimpoint will take care of you. I'm guessing the Canadian market is too small for them to have a incountry warranty center.

I had to deal with Aimpoint’s warranty in Sweden. What a bunch of nice people ! I had battery leakage in one of my Aimpoint PRO. From the time it left my hands to the time it came back, it took a month, which is awesome compared to what I’ve seen in Canada for warranty.

My old PRO was replaced by a new PRO.

To the OP, did you tighten, and I mean TIGHTEN(twist the cap with the tool until it stops at setting 12, and still keep twisting until the cap is tight). This happened to me before and I thought it was due to a broken sight. I hope this helps and it’s just a matter of battery cap tightness.

I sent my second hand Aimpoint that was giving me trouble to Sweden on a Thursday afternoon. Had it back on my doorstep the following Wednesday with no cost to me(except the shipping to Sweden, it was coveredcoming back to Canada). Best warranty department I've ever dealt with.

Yes, they contacted me tthis morning with same thing you said, It was that, thanks

hope it works

I had some no name cheap thing just see what it was like for 30.oo , and it was not too bad, it would cut out a couple times, the contacts where a bit loose around the battery, I use a pick and bent them out some and it fixed it. Than bought a vortex for the 1911 45.
If you have to tighten it that tight, I would check that.
