Has anyone ever returned an Aimpoint back to Sweden for warranty? I sent mine on March 15 and have yet to receive notification that they received the sight. This seems unusually long as it was sent via air (without tracking). Anyone else have similar return experience?

Air to Europe without tracking through Canada Post? I didn't know that was possible. I've sent quite a few things to Germany, Sweden, etc. but always use Xpresspost International. Yes, it's expensive, but everything has arrived within a week. Their customs don't seem to be nearly as "anal" as ours. An Aimpoint in a parcel shouldn't be more than $40-$50. I'd wager a bet yours is going by boat.

I was just about to post about AIMPOINT service..is Sweden our only option ??
I have an older (discontinued ) COMP M2 in need of a repair.

Probably. I contacted Aimpoint USA. ITAR is a pain in the ass, you can send an optic to them to repair but they can't send it back to you without a lot of bull#### paperwork.

I sent a T-1 back to Sweden for warranty in 2015. I sent it Priority as that was the only method that allowed me to insure for the full value, I a new one back less than a week after they received it. No complaints from my end.

It's a good thing Aimpoints rarely break - their service is the worst I've ever seen. The OP's sight is probably sitting in the mail room in Malmo and will be for a couple of months. I'm surprised you got it as far as sending it to Sweden.

As an update, Aimpoint eventually received my H1 and in the same day, repaired it and sent it back to me Via UPS. Took 3 days to get back to my house. No charge for the repair. Great service

So much for baseless comments.
