What features does the patrol optic have that makes it verbotten to sell to us civies?

None that I can see. A ridiculous situation, dealers across North America sell M4 and M4S to civilians which are NV capable without any issues. I think a Canadian competitive dealer complained about TPC selling to the public. It appears to me to be ML2/ML3 optic on a QRP mount at a reasonable price. I have not found the shrink ray, acme disintegrator or timbit dispensor on it yet!!! I suspect marketing BS, price point and dirty business practice. I asked Dean about this when I purchased the PRO for myself. I am LEO but this is for my personal carbine not duty. I think things are getting worked out with Aimpoint. Pick one up if you can, great value.
