I had the priviledge of shooting that space gun out at the Outpost at 400ish, 600ish and 1000 yesterday.
Suffice it to say that for a guy who only owns light hunting rifles, I was damn impressed.
Off a bipod resting on a hunk of river ice the size of a small car, cat had me hitting targets from 8x10" around 400, to about 20x18" around 600, to about 12x12" at 1000 with few misses. That IOR scope is an excellent piece of glass also.
Let me say that I'm a shakey bugger when it comes to holding on a target, especially in an awkward "assume the position" type stance on a river bank.
Cat was shooting much better, as is to be expected.
All in all it was just way too cool!
I also discovered that my 30-06 mountain rifle is trustworthy to make a kill shot out to the 400ish mark with a good rest, which is farther than I've shot that one before.
That is a very, very cool rifle indeed.
BTW, jet boats are awsome.
