Air gun recommendation

I've always enjoyed pellet guns but they are all low powered. I want to try a high power break action pellet rifle in 22 or 25 caliber. What do you recommend? Want a minimum of 900fps.
 
A springer with higher power is hard on scopes, and can be hold sensitive. PCPs need air but have more power and are more accurate. The Canadian Airgun Forum have many helpful members just like this awesome Forum.
 
If you can find arrangements to get a tank filled with high pressure air, pcp guns are great. I have a 22 cal that I tuned to a little less than 900 fps with the heaviest weight 22 pellets, and I can shoot maybe 25 shots with very little change in point of impact, then another 25 or more but it slowly drops point of impact as pressure falls below a certain threshold. Sorry, I've forgotten the specs of pressure vs number of accurate shots as its been a while since i shot it. I brought home my scuba tank from the last hydro test, and the buggers forgot to fill it.

I can also quickly turn down the velocity to some degree. When it shot at 495 fps, I could get a lot of shots out of a tank.

Yeah I read that you can't leave them cocked long before it damages the spring.
 
I've got a Walther Falcon .22 that pushes standard pellets to about 850fps and a matching Walther Talon in .25 that does around 650fps (these are magnum springer break barrel guns). These will beat the crap out of most scopes and as I result I've stuck to iron sights on them. More recently I've gotten into PCP guns and they are a lot of fun, high power, much easier on scopes and on me, magazine fed, and easy to modify and adjust. Unless you are a dedicated springer I'd look into a PCP.
 
My PCP group uses JSB round nose .25 pellets around 26 grains at 960 fps out to 100 yards for rodent pesting, the BC is great. No springer can remotely come close, as the larger spring mass destroys optics, nitro pistons are great but fall flat at longer distances. My furthest witnessed airgun gopher kill was lasered at 144 yards! These are not toys and sit between a .22 short and long for power. Have gone as high as 42 grains with my buddy killing a Coyote with his Condor PCP. Lots of airguns at D&L Airgun, John is great to ask about this sport. Have fun, do your research, and be patient. Using powder burners is easy compared to airgunning. We mini snipe paintballs on golf ties, as it is all about style.

If you have the coin, go PCP.
 
High power low cost… the nitros are decent but only come in 177 or 22

High power premium… FX M3 in 35cal if my favorite gun hands down!!!

Saw your comment on FPS… join a pellet gun Facebook group, lots of math goes into pellet gun shooting… most pellets past 850fps loose accuracy to a high degree. If your using for varmint control I’d rather a perfect placed pellet at 850 vs a wild tumbling pellet at 1250 just an fyi.
 
Ya if you want PCP, HW100 is what I have... but dont get an FSB model... get one with a solid steel barrel.

I really like it, and a buddy does as well so he just bought one too.

We both have 177 but they have a 22 cal also.
