I *think* both of those are the same, and likely made by umarex. I've handled the umarex guns before, but haven't fired them...they felt nice, very close to my real 1911. Can't vouch for their accuracy though :)

Weihrauch HW45 in .22 pellet.

Accurate, powerful .22 pellet gun, spring piston powered. powerful enough for pest control under 10 yards, or farther if pest is small.

Pricey however.

Had a Umerex Colt 1911 gold cup model in 177. the most accurate repeater that I ever owned, and cost alot$500 as the exchange was horrible, it gets my vote, Dale in T-Bay

How about a Webley Alecto?

Take a look at some of Umarex products (they pretty much make all the walther, beretta, colt air pistols) I pretty much have all of there air pistols and they are amazing, and have the best customer service you can find. They are the best made and best shooting. I recommend DL airguns, check them out online, email them any questions you may have they are brutally honest about there products

I have the SA 177 Glock look alike. Amazing gun, I bought it a couple of weeks ago at a gun show. I am very happy with it. It feels like a real Glock, in weight and the general feel. I would recommend the SA to anyone who want to practice in the basement their pistol skills/

umarex colt or the hw45 would get my vote

I don't necessarily agree. I have one that I bought used so i don't know how much it was shot but it is worn right out. I took it apart to try and fix it, the guts are quite complex and mostly plastic. The outside seems to be substantial but the guts tell me its just a consumable, throw away so based on what I've seen inside this gun I wouldn't buy another and wish I hadn't bought this one.

This was with the steel framed colt ? http://w ww.umarexusa.com/product/Colt-Government-1911,42,26.htm ??

While I have never taken one appart, I do believe the internals are mostly made out of metal.

"Metal" including the entire frame and slide is cast pot metal, not steel. Even the Umarex 22s are not all steel.
