Air Rifle Scope for Centerfire Rifle?

A good air rifle scope needs to be built to handle MORE recoil than a centerfire creates, since the sharp vibration of piston-spring guns is murder on optics.
The main issues to watch for are parallax and eye relief. I'm not familiar with the RWS, but if eye relief is OK and parallax is adjustable, it should be OK to use it.

Longwalker is correct. Air rifle scopes are typically built better to withstand the recoil, which is greater than even most large caliber centerfires. If indeed they are a good quality air rifle scope. I know Burris produces, or used to produce an air rifle scope and claimed it would handle the recoil of a .458

Air rifle scopes are not made for the abuse that a large or small centerfire rifle produces. Even the best air rifle scopes will not hold a consistent point of imapct when subjected to a beating from even a small centerfires recoil.
The sky is the limit in regards to optics but I think you would be much better off spending at least a couple hundred bucks on a half decent scope. Take into account that your air rifle scope probably is not fogproof, completely weather resistant, or provide the quality of glass you would want for a proper centerfire hunting setup. If you are going to use it for hunting you might want to have no doubt that your scope will hold a consistent POI so you dont have any issues in regards poor shots or in the worst case losing a wounded animal.... you owe the animal that much.

Ummm, no.
Magnum spring air rifles will pound scopes to pieces better and quicker than most magnum CF rifles.
I have notches pounded into good quality rings, where the rings rest stop studs on the rails. Likewise you need good quality rings, really tight, otherwise the scope will slide in the rings.
All Leupolds, Burris, and most Bushnell scopes are airgun recoil rated, but many other well known manufacturers' scopes are not.
